Trevor on Trump (video clip at end)
Despite some people’s doubts, I am human enough, but politically I am probably somewhat left of Barack Obama and tend to admire his personal attributes outside of any political issues.
Naturally I would then tend to appreciate comedians who spend a lot of energy ridiculing entrenched conservatives who simply cannot tolerate diversity, seeing humans as good or evil, right or wrong, one of us or not one of us, and everything in black or white, seeped in nostalgia of the past.
One of my favorites is Bill Maher, about as quick witted at they come. But Noah Trevor seems to have quickly become a master of political satire of the political right, especially the man who hates just about everybody and everything—despite having inherited or achieved all the material things people seek in life, including a ’trophy’ immigrant wife from Eastern Europe. Is there anybody less contented in life than Donald Trump? In my lifetime every President had at least some personal virtues. With Trump I can’t think of one. We have had bad Presidents before and survived but we now live on a planet that is overpopulated by humans, a planet about to face severe climate changes, a country in which 43% of adults don’t make enough money to qualify to pay federal income tax, a country in which 2-5% of the citizens own 90% of our country’s wealth, a country in which world-wide terrorists have pegged America as the target of their terrorism, a country in which most of our terrorism incidents have been carried out by white American citizens, and where the principle of ‘violence begets violence’ is rampant globally. And we have Donald Trump as President. We are about to see how that works out.
Anyway, the following clip illustrates how nimble Noah Trevor has quickly become a a thorn in Trump’s side. The are two clips on the same site. The second one is funnier. This is not the kind of musing which I will save more than a week or two. It then becomes irrelevant.
